According to economists, we are about to face a slowdown in the market and organizations must be prudent with their operational costs. Thus, emphasis will be placed on reducing non-business budget items; traditionally training is one of the first to budget lines cut. This presents a problem for employees who are promoted from individual contributor roles to managing others.
