What’s the big deal about “AI Ethics”?

Adopting AI “ethically” is not just about implementing technological restraints, but also about exploring the context in which AI is utilized and addressing ethical concerns. For instance, when government organizations adopt AI without proper ethical guardrails, it can lead to biased decision-making and unfair treatments across areas like employment, social services, and criminal justice exacerbating inequalities.
